This timeless design has been created to great effect in this marvelous baptism cloak made by one of Ireland’s leading linen companies. The Celtic Knot design embroidery on either side of the closure at the neck is one found in jewellery of the Celts going back even before the time of Christ, but is especially associated with ornamentation of early Christian monuments and manuscripts (such as the 8th Century Book of Kells). The cloak is simple and yet elegant, with a plain hem and tie at the neck.
